Computer Game Design Club
We are looking for 20 young people aged 10-16 who have an interest in all things to do with computer games and computer game design, to take part in our Computer Game Design Clubs which will run in Runcorn. The project has been design to give participants the chance to get the experience of what it is like to develop computer games. From concept to final product, the young people will get to work on a number of aspects such as level design and character animation, as well as playing and sharing what they make.
This project is funded by Riverside, Liverpool Housing Trust, AddAction, Plus Dane and Halton Children’s Trust. The sessions are FREE of charge and will run for a total of 4 weeks, but as places are limited and we are expecting high demand, we are stipulating that participants can only attend one of the clubs and not both (Either Tuesday’s or Wednesday’s)
All sessions will be 2 hours long and will start at 13:00 until 15:00. The first club will run from Tuesday 28th July at Murdishaw Community Centre, Barnfield Avenue, Runcorn, WA7 6JW. The alternative sessions will start on Wednesday 29th July at Castlefields Community Centre, Runcorn, WA7 2HR.
If you, or someone you know would like to take part in the project please contact us to book a place. Once you have booked your place, please download the forms below, print them off and ensure the relevant parent/guardian has filled them out so that the participant can bring them to their first session for our records. If you don’t have printing facilities please let us know and we will bring a copy of the form to be filled out by a parent/guardian before the first session starts.
